Description: Yellow, tan, or cream base color with pink or purple hues. Dorsal patterning is brown in color. Dorsal patterns are variable and can range from banded, blotched, spotted, or a combination. Juveniles have more distinct banding that typically fades as they age. The skin is soft and the scales are granular. The pupils are vertical.

Size: A small species averaging 4 to 5 inches in total length. 

Range and Habitat: This species occurs in Southern Washington County. It inhabits rocky areas of Mojave desertscrub. It can be found below 4,000 feet in elevation. 

Similar Species: The non-native Mediterranean House Gecko lacks eyelids. It has toe pads and bumpy tubercles.
